Character, truth, dignity, poise, respect, honor, cherish, and love. THOSE are things of value. Those are attributes that truly matter, and make TRUE differences in our own lives and the lives we influence.

~If you are self-conscious, degrading of yourself, or always in comparison to other people, you will NEVER find true peace and joy, even if the best thing was standing right in front of you. We often don't see the greatness in life until we are humbled enough, and content enough with ourselves, to see it. You will always be seeking for something more to fulfill that void within yourself. Always wanting the next big thing, or a new this, or a new that. It won't give you the answer your looking for. Peace and acceptance with who you are, comes ONLY through God. And pure bliss with what we DO have, only comes when we are at peace with ourselves.
