New Year's Resolutions

Its that time of year....where it comes to... an end. haha And the typical response to this is, "Oh! Its a new year! l Lets right a list of goals for our New Year's Resolution!" Well, I'm here to convey that this... doesnt work! haha I cant even being to describe how many times I have sat down and done this, only to find myself a few months later, completely off track and lost sight of everything I had just made a list about! I feel like I always try to perfect everything..so my goal list is of 10 resolutions or more. ha. Maybe thats the problem. But...this is my advice to you. ONE. One thing you want to better yourself. One goal you have that is completely realistic. Maybe even go up to two or three..but dont push passed five. And work every week in striving towards this. Allow yourself time, and dont force it within the first month, but give yourself the complete FULL year to finish. Here is an example that I will share with you.

One of my #1 New Year's Resolutions is to be a better example, to emulate more of Christ in my life. Not just in doing, for myself and feel his love and presence in my life more, but in others lives. Now...there are probably hundreds of ways I could do this. Hundreds of things I could write down to better myself to meet this particular goal. But I am not writing one single thing down. However this may happen, will happen. It might change daily, depending on who I am with, and what circumstances I am under. But I hope that by the end of the next year, I will feel like this goal was completed, however that may look.

I hope this New Year not only brings joy, but peace to all those who read this, and all those who dont. All that matters as we set goals and strive to be better, is the effort we put in to trying, not necessarily how far we get, but that we did try. I pray that we all continue to try every day to be better than the day before.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!! <3

Grown-Up Christmas List

Do you remember me?
I sat upon your knee
I wrote to you with childhood fantasies
Well, I'm all grown-up now
Can you still help somehow?
I'm not a child, but my start still can dream

So here's my lifelong wish
My grown-up Christmas list
Not for myself, but for a world in need

No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
very man would have a friend
That right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown-up Christmas list

What is this illusion called the innocence of youth?
Maybe only in that blind belief can we ever find the truth

No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
Every man would have a friend
That right would always win
And love would never end

This is my grown-up Christmas list
This is my only lifelong wish
This is my grown-up Christmas list

Love....this song with all my heart. <3 Enjoy this Christmas Season
